The Master’s Plus Initial Administrator Licensure (M+IAL) program offers a master’s degree combined with a Principal License/Initial Administrator License (IAL). This allows you to become a principal or other building-level school administrator. An IAL gives you the skills to lead positively, creatively, collaboratively, and proactively in your diverse communities. With a background in responsive leadership, feel confident making strong decisions when it matters most and move cutting-edge educational practices forward.

The M+IAL program requires the completion of at least 45 credits. This includes:
- Professional Studies Core (17 credits)
- IAL License Cohort (28 credits)

为来自中国的学生设计 To be admitted to PSU for a master’s program, applicants must satisfy University requirements and be accepted by the academic department in which the graduate study will occur. Admission eligibility is based on receipt of a baccalaureate degree equivalent to a United States four-year bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized as an institution of higher education by the Ministry of Education in the relevant country or be regionally accredited within the U.S. Regular Admission: To be considered for regular admission, applicants must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or the equivalent (on the U.S. 4.0 scale). Applicants who have earned 9 or more letter-graded graduate credits must have a minimum graduate GPA of 3.0 or the equivalent; this graduate GPA supersedes the undergraduate GPA. IELTS: 6.5 overall score with minimum sub scores of 6.5 in reading and writing, TOEFL score of Paper-based: 550 overall; 22 in writing with 20 in reading and listening, TOEFL score of Internet-based: Minimum overall score of 80 with minimum sub scores of 18 in reading and writing, PTE - Academic: 60 overall.
